The Frontline Socialist Party says an independent audit must be conducted into the houses and property of politicians that were torched in the violence on the 9th of May.

Jagoda said estimates on damages to houses and property of regional politicians is not a priority, adding that the Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government however has informed District Secretaries to obtain an estimate and submit them by 4pm today.

He called for assets and declarations to be investigated following the estimates, adding that in the event a politician is unable to prove their wealth illegal action must be sought.
