The Joint Council of Professions of Supplementary Medicine warns that a token strike will be launched tomorrow (26) if a favourable response is not received within the day today, to the letter directed by the union detailing the grievances of health sector workers.
The union charges that an opportunity has not been granted to hold discussion over their concerns including in ensuring a 24-hour service.
The health unions have held numerous protests and strike actions in the past to win over their demands and to direct their opposition at the former government.
