Leader of the National Freedom Front MP Wimal Weerawansa warns that people are trying to accelerate the present crisis in Sri Lanka to one that is similar to Libya.
Speaking at the NFF May Day rally in Battaramulla the MP said a historical issue will be created if the people allow Sri Lanka to become a country that has no governance system in place.
He said it is everyone’s responsibility to ensure that Sri Lanka does not suffer the same fate.
MP Weerawansa stressed that the peoples call for all 225 MPs to go home will leave a political void in the governance structure.
He called on all organizations to act with wisdom and not anger, during this decisive time and not forget the true purpose of the people’s struggle.
MP Weerawansa stressed that groups posing as not affiliated to certain religions, in reality are ani-buddhist.
He claimed that certain groups and thugs were trying to create a crisis in Sri Lanka without a governance structure.
MP Weerawansa also expressed his disappointment at the Prime Minister for his weak policies brought about by those who are around him.
