Grade 5 Scholarship cut-off marks released

The cut-off marks to grant admission for students for Grade 6 in 2022, based on the 2021 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination results have been released.

The Ministry of Education in a statement said, Royal College, Colombo has the highest cut-off mark of 179.

Dharmaraja College, Kandy has the second highest cut-off of 178 while Ananda College, Colombo has a cut-off mark of 176.

Students who qualified based on their 2021 Scholarship Exam results and are yet to be assigned a school or require a change in schools on reasonable grounds can submit appeals.

The Ministry said an online system will be facilitated in this regard while the timeframe for submitting appeals will also be announced in due course.

The Ministry said all appeals must be directed to the Education Ministry only through the online portal adding that appeals submitted through other means will be rejected.
