The grace period granted to settle fines for traffic offences ends on the 14th of November.
Post Master General Ranjith Ariyaratne issuing a statement said fines issued from the 31st of October must be settled without any late charges by the 14th of November.
Fines settled after the 14th, for a period of 28 days must be settled with the late fee.
The settlement of fines for traffic offences from the 1st of November will be accepted as per usual within a 14-day period, while settlements 28 days after the due date will be imposed a late fee.
The Post Master General said the payment of traffic spot fines that are unpaid for 28 days will not be accepted.
