Parliamentarian Ven. Athuraliye Rathana Thera says the prevalent crisis can be overcome promptly.
Speaking at a media briefing in Colombo today, the MP claimed fuel and gas queues can be eliminated within three months.
He further said it was possible to prevent the country facing a food crisis.
Athuraliye Rathana Thera noted certain parties placed their faith in President Ranil Wickremesinghe and said it was necessary to grant him an opportunity to provide solutions to the prevalent issues.
The Venerable said President Wickremesinghe was the last politician to follow Portuguese and English style statesmanship adding a new era will begin after him.
