The Office of the Prime Minister says former Speaker of the House Karu Jayasuriya has accepted Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe’s request to assist in the formation of new Parliamentary Committees.

The Prime Minister’s Office said it aims to strengthen the oversight role of Parliament and increase youth participation.
