Remittances from foreign workers, one of the main sources of foreign exchange inflow to Sri Lanka, have further declined in November.
According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, foreign remittances in November stood at USD 271.4 million.
The Central Bank said this is a decrease of 55.6% compared to USD 611.7 million in remittances received in November last year.
