Four individuals of the same family in Kahathuduwa have been hospitalised with burn injuries due to a house fire today.
Police said the victims include the Father, Mother and two daughters.
However the Mother and Father succumbed to injuries caused during the house fire.
The injured also include a four year old child who was admitted to the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for treatment.
The family was transferred to the Colombo National Hospital for further treatment.
Police said the government analyst has been called to the scene as the cause behind the fire has not been uncovered yet.
