Former President Maithripala Sirisena says he can swear by the cross on any church that he did not receive any information about the Easter Sunday attack while receiving treatment at a hospital in Singapore.
Former President Sirisena has said that allegations that he travelled abroad while being aware of the Easter attacks are completely false.
The former President was speaking at a function held at a church in Polonnaruwa after the Sunday service.
Former President Maithripala Sirisena added that he would not have left the country if he had been informed by intelligence services or the security forces about the attacks.
