The hearing of the case filed against 25 individuals including Naufer Moulavi in relation to the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks has been postponed until the 3rd of March.
NewsRadio court correspondent said the hearing was postponed since one of the suspects in the case requested the charge sheet in Tamil while another individual who had requested the charge sheet in English has not received it thus far.
Accordingly, the bench had decided to adjourn the case until the 3rd of March.
The Attorney General last year filed indictments on 25 suspects in relation to the 2019 Easter Sunday attacks.
The indictments were filed over bombing at the St. Anthony’s Shrine in Kochchikade, St. Sebastian’s Church in Katuwapitiya, Zion Church in Batticaloa, three leading hotels in Colombo and Tropical Inn in Dehiwala.
They are charged with conspiring, planning, aiding and abetting, gathering explosives and firearms, murder and attempted murder.
