The driver of a Defender that was involved in a fatal accident reported in Kuliyapitiya yesterday, has been arrested.
The vehicle that was travelling from Madampe to Kuliyapitiya collided with a motorcycle resulting in the death of the 39-year-old motorcycle rider.
Area residents had reportedly torched the defender subsequently. Investigations are currently being conducted by the Kuliyapitiya Police.
