Minister of Trade Bandula Gunawardana today requested all factions to refrain from disrupting the import and export process in the country.
Speaking at a media briefing today, the Minister said a 10-day quarantine curfew was imposed owing to the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic adding the decision was not an easy decision by the government.
Minister Gunawardana requested all factions not to disrupt any aspect of the economy.
The Minister said a number of goods are not manufactured in the country such as crude oil and gas including certain essential commodities such as dhal.
