DEW Gunasekera has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Communist Party of Sri Lanka.
The Communist Party said Specialist Dr. G Weerasinghe was appointed as the General Secretary of the party.
The appointments were made yesterday by the new Central Committee that was appointed at the 22nd National Conference held recently.
