Curfew, that was imposed in the island since Monday, was lifted at 7am today (12).

Curfew will however be re-imposed at 2pm today (12) and will be effective till 6am tomorrow (13).

Curfew was imposed on Monday (9) according to provisions of the Article 16 of the Public Security Ordinance.

Accordingly, no one will be permitted to remain on public roads, railway lines, parks, playgrounds, or public beaches, except under the authority of a written permit issued by an authorising officer.
