Police curfew imposed within the Colombo North, Colombo South, Colombo Central, Nugegoda, Mt-Lavinia, and Kelaniya Police Divisions has been lifted.
The Police Media Unit issuing a statement said Police curfew was lifted at 5am.
Police curfew was imposed around 12:30 this morning following unrest that broke out last night adjacent to Pengiriwatte Road, in Mirihana that leads to the residence of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
Police Media Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa said residents of the six Police Divisions can engage in their day-to-day activities as per usual.
