The Ceylon Teachers Service Union has appealed to all teachers and principals to come forward and make an active contribution to win their demands.
The CTSU said all must unite and inform the public of their struggle instead of a few trade union leaders taking the lead.
Taking to social media today, the General Secretary of the Union Mahinda Jayasinghe said the government has launched various disruptive activities against its struggle.
Jayasinghe said the government has commenced its subversive activities after 62 days since the launch of the trade union struggle adding the government had put up posters against teachers and principals in Kalutara.
He requested the government to refrain from such activities and instead provide a solution promptly to the issue considering students.
Jayasinghe said only if everyone come together for the struggle can they send a clear message to the government to resolve the issue.
