COVID health guidelines issued pertaining to weddings, dining in restaurants and other activities have been eased further.
Director General of Health Services Dr. Asela Gunawardana has outlined revised guidelines applicable from today.
Accordingly, 100 guests will be allowed at indoor weddings while a maximum of 150 guests will be allowed at outdoor weddings.
However, alcohol will not be allowed to be served at weddings.
Meanwhile, a maximum of 75 persons will be allowed to dine-in at restaurants at any given time while a maximum of 100 persons will be allowed to attend outdoor functions.
Office meetings can be conducted in 1/3 of the space of the relevant hall or room and must be limited to a maximum of 150 individuals.
Furthermore, the daily 11pm to 4am travel restriction will not be in place from today.
