The Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court has dismissed a request by the Police to prevent a protest march organised by the Inter University Students Federation from entering several roads within the Cinnamon Gardens Police area today and tomorrow.
The request submitted by the Cinnamon Gardens Police was rejected by Colombo Chief Magistrate Nandana Amarasinghe today.
Traders say the prices of broiler chicken and eggs will increase further.
