Venerable Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera has been acquitted from the case filed against him on charges of insulting the Quran during an event held in Polonnaruwa.
The Organized Crime Prevention Unit informed Court today that the Attorney General informed that no charges will be filed against Gnanasara Thera, in connection to the incident.
Therefore, it was revealed in Court that the case will not be continued.
