The Cabinet of Ministers has granted approval to a proposal to revise the circular pertaining to the admission of students to grade one of schools with effect from 2023.

The revised circular has been devised considering the facts submitted by various parties including the Principals, Circular Revision Committee, the Investigation Division of the Ministry, the Commission to Investigate Bribery or Corruption as well as the Elections Commission and also based on Court decisions.

The Cabinet in this regard was tabled by the Minister of Education.
