Church says no holy mass at Galle Face today

The Catholic Church says social media posts of a mass to be held at Galle Face today, are completely false.

The Catholic Church says social media posts of a mass to be held at Galle Face today, are completely false.

Media Spokesman for the Church, Rev. Fr. Cyril Gamini said the protest currently underway at Galle Face was formed by the public regardless of religion and nationality.

However, Rev. Fr. Gamini said the Catholic Church will fully support the youth currently protesting opposite the Presidential Secretariat.

Rev. Fr. Gamini pledged his support to the youth.
