The Ceylon Electricity Board Engineers’ Union has reached a decision to launch a sick note campaign tomorrow.

The Union said they decided to launch the trade union action in protest of the new General Manager appointed to the Ceylon Electricity Board.

However, when inquired by NewsRadio, the Ceylon Electricity Board Senior Engineers’ Association said they will not support the trade union action adding they will report to duty as usual.
