Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Ajith Nivard Cabraal has resigned from his post.
In a statement, Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal said he tendered in his resignation to the President today.
He said the decision was taken since all Cabinet Ministers decided to resign from their posts amidst protests across the country.
