Archbishop of Colombo Cardinal Malcolm Ranjith will call on Pope Francis later today.
The meeting between the Cardinal and Pope Francis will take place at 3:30pm Sri Lanka time at the St. Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican.

The Pope had written a letter in January to the Cardinal promising to pay close attention to developments and to seek justice for the victims of the attacks.
The Cardinal during a recent event said the government has failed to fulfil its promises to and termed the investigations a joke as senior officials and high ranking officers who failed to fulfil their duties are being protected.
