The National Transport Commission has decided to reduce bus fares with effect from midnight today (4).
The NTC said the concession of the drop in the price of a litre of diesel by Rs.10 last week, led to the decision to revise bus fares.
However, the NTC said bus fares along expressways will not be amended.
The NTC informed that the percentage by which bus fares will be reduced will be made known today.
