The Board of Investment of Sri Lanka, the Department of Immigration and Emigration and five other entities have been placed under the purview of newly appointed Minister of Investment Promotion Dhammika Perera.
According to the Extraordinary Gazette notification issued by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa dated 27th of June, the Colombo Port City Economic Commission, Project related to Colombo Port City, Colombo Lotus Tower Management Company (Pvt.) Limited, Techno Park Development Company (Pvt.) Limited and Information Technology Parks will also come under the purview of Minister Dhammika Perera.
Meanwhile, Secretary to the President Gamini Senarath has issued a gazette notification confirming the appointment of Kulappu Arachchige Don Dhammika Perera as the Minister of Investment Promotion on the 24th of June, under Article 44(1)(b) of the Constitution of Sri Lanka.
