Minister of Mass Media Bandula Gunawardana has been appointed as the new Cabinet Spokesman.
Meanwhile, the Department of Government Information said Ministers Mahinda Amaraweera, Manusha Nanayakkara and Kanchana Wijesekera will function as Co-Cabinet Spokesmen in the new government.
The National Transport Medical Institute will be closed on Fridays and Saturdays from this week until further notice.
