A group of protesters have also gathered outside the Temple Trees against Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa demanding his resignation as well.
Meanwhile, the organisation for the Rights of Women will engage in a silent anti-government protest at Town Hall this evening.
The draft of the 21st Amendment to the Constitution has been presented to the Cabinet of Ministers.
