The Ministry of Education has decided to temporarily suspend the issuance of admission letters to national schools from today.
Accordingly, newly appointed Minister Susil Premajayantha said a policy decision will be reached in this regard after the school holidays.
The Minister made this statement after the assuming duties as the Minister of Education at the Ministry today.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe says the amount of remittances sent through official channels has seen an increase.
