74 Navy officers and 2,010 Sailors have been promoted by the Commander of the Navy in line with the 13th Victory Day anniversary.
The promotions were made by the Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne with the consent of the President.
Nine senior officers and 65 junior officers have been promoted to their next rank.
In addition, 2,010 junior and senior sailors of different ranks in both Regular and Volunteer forces have also been promoted. ss
