The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka said a request by the Ceylon Electricity Board to impose power cuts due to the unavailability of fuel for thermal power plants was approved.
Accordingly, all areas will experience a one hour and 40 minute power disruption between 9am to 5:20pm and one hour and 20 minutes between 5:20pm to 9:20pm.
