Another 23 COVID-19 related fatalities have been confirmed in Sri Lanka, raising the virus death toll to 15,949.
The Government Information Department said 17 males and six females were among the individuals who succumbed to the virus yesterday.
Five males and three females were identified as between 30 and 59 years of age while 12 males and three females were identified as 60 years or above.
