Two-hour and 30-minute power cuts have been approved for tomorrow (22) and Thursday (23).
The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka said requests for power cuts by the Ceylon Electricity Board was approved.
Accordingly, A to L and P to W will experience a two hour and 30-minute power cut between noon and 10pm.
Group CC will experience a two-hour power disruption from 6am to 8am and groups M, N, O, X, Y, and Z will face a three-hour power cut from 5am to 8am.
