A set of proposals compiled by the March 12 Movement based on recommendations by groups representing all sections of society pertaining to the 21st Amendment to the Constitution, will be presented to several political leaders today (20).
The March 12 Movement said the document includes 31 recommendations which was compiled based on suggestions from religious leaders, professionals, trade union leaders, civil society activists, media personnel and several other groups.
Accordingly, the proposals will be handed over to the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, former President Maithripala Sirisena, Minister of Justice, Prison Affairs and Constitutional Reforms Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe and Parliamentarian Anura Priyadharshana Yapa.
