The results of the 2021 Grade 5 Scholarship Examination have been released.
The results can be accessed via the official websites of the Department of Examinations, doenets.lk or results.exams.gov.lk.
335,158 candidates sat for the 2021 Grade Five Scholarship Exam which was held on the 22nd of January.
255,062 candidates sat for the exam in the Sinhala medium while 85,446 candidates sat for the exam in Tamil medium. The Exams Department said the district or island ranks will not be looked into for the Scholarship Exam.
The results will be released with the marks obtained by the candidate along with the cut-off marks for the relevant district and medium.

The Department of Examinations informed candidates who wish to apply for re-correction to do so prior to the 31st of March.
20,000 students will be granted scholarships while 250 of the scholarships have been allocated for students with special needs.
Meanwhile the cut-off marks for each district for the Sinhala and Tamil mediums were released last evening as well.
Accordingly the Sinhala medium cut-off mark for the Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara districts is 152.
