Police have issued warnings to 1,831 persons in the Western Province pertaining to wearing face masks appropriately.
The warnings were issued during an operation carried out in the Western Province yesterday, with the participation of 778 officers attached to the Traffic Police.
3,021 motorbikes, 2,645 three-wheelers and 7,810 persons were inspected during the operation.
