Sri Lanka Railways says 14 train journeys along several railway lines were cancelled today as a result of several railway operators testing positive for COVID-19.
Accordingly six trains along the main railway line, two along the coastal line, two along the Kelani Valley line, three along the Puttalam line and the train travelling to Kurunegala along the northern line was cancelled.
It was reported that passengers were severely burdened due to the cancellations.
The draft of the 21st Amendment to the Constitution has been presented to the Cabinet of Ministers.
