Police have arrested 136 persons over various charges, during a special criminal operation carried out in the Western Province.
Police Headquarters said the special operation was carried out for a period of three hours from 3pm to 5pm yesterday.
658 Police officers were deployed for the operation, while 257 road blocks were also used.
4,331 persons and 2,622 vehicles were inspected during the operation.
Seven vehicles were seized during the operation.
