10-hours of power cuts will be imposed tomorrow in several parts of the country (30).
The Ceylon Electricity Board attributed the power cut duration to the unavailability of fuel for 750MW of thermal capacity.
Accordingly, the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka approved the 10-hour power disruption today.
Areas A, B, C, D, E, F, P, Q, R, and S will experience a 10-hour disruption from 2pm to 12am and areas G, H, I, J, K, L, T, U, V, and W six hours from 8am to 2pm and four hours from 6pm to 10pm.
Areas M, N, O, X, Y, and Z will also face a 10-hour disruption from 8am to 6pm.
