No long distance trains were in operation today and the day before due to island wide curfew and trade union action.

Accordingly, three trains will be in operation tomorrow and will ply from Mount Lavinia to Kankesanthurai, from Colombo Fort to Badulla and from Maradana to Beliatta.

Sri Lanka Railways said the long distance trains will return to their destinations after the trip as well.
