Cabinet Spokesman Minister Bandula Gunawardana hints that Laugfs Gas PLC will also reduce LP gas prices in the near future.

Speaking during the weekly Cabinet media briefing in Colombo this morning, Minister Gunawardana said the revision should be done after consulting the Consumer Affairs Authority.

The Minister said he will also inform the Minister of Trade to address the concerns raised by consumers regarding the price and the distribution mechanism of Laugfs Gas PLC.

He said he is hopeful that an agreement can be reached pertaining to Laugfs gas prices and the distribution.

Meanwhile, yesterday, Litro Gas Company reduced the prices of LP gas cylinders.
