COLOMBO (NewsRadio); Lanka Sathosa has once again reduced prices of four essential commodities.
The price reduction is effective as of today at all Sathosa outlets.
Lanka Sathosa issuing a statement said the measure was taken in order to provide relief to consumers.
Accordingly, the price of a kilogram of wheat flour has been reduced by Rs.5 to Rs.230 and a kilogram of local Red Raw Rice has been reduced by Rs.10 to Rs.169.
Furthermore, a kilogram of big onions has been reduced by Rs.15 to Rs.165 while a kilogram of dried chilies has been reduced by Rs.25 to Rs.1,675.
