COLOMBO (NewsRadio); Lanka IOC has suspended supplies to 26 filling stations.
The company said the decision was taken after the 26 filling stations failed to comply with QR quota regulations.
Meanwhile, yesterday, a decision was taken to suspend the services of 40 filling stations that had failed to comply with QR quotas.
Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera said the filling stations had continuously not adhered to QR quotas.
The decision was taken during a progress review meeting held with the management and the officers of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation and the Ceylon Petroleum Storage Terminal Limited.
