Landslide warnings issued by the National Building Research Organization to nine districts have been extended until 8.30pm.

Landslide warnings issued by the National Building Research Organization to nine districts have been extended until 8.30pm.

Accordingly, level two warnings will be in place in Rattota and Ukuwela in the Matale districts until 8.30pm.

Furthermore, level one landslide warning will be in effect in Ganga Ihala Korale, Yatinuwara, Pasbage Korale, Gangawata Korale, Udunuwara, Doluwa, Harispattuwa, Pathahewaheta and Udapalatha in the Kandy district, Ella and Passara in the Badulla district, Nagoda, Baddegama, Elpitiya and Neluwa in the Galle district, Horana, Ingiriya, Palindanuwara, Agalawatta and Bulathsinhala in the Kalutara district, Yatiyanthota, Aranayake, Bulathkohupitiya, Kegalle, Ruwanwella, Rambukkana and Mawanella in the Kegalle district, Kalawana, Ratnapura, Nivitigala, Elapatha, Kiriella, Ayagama, Ehaliyagoda and Kuruwita in the Ratnapura district, Mallawapitiya and Mawathagama in the Kurunegala district and Seethawaka in the Colombo district.
