The government says the General Sir John Kotelawala National Defence University Draft Bill will not be tabled in Parliament on Friday.
During this morning’s Parliamentary session, Former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe requested the government to announce the stance pertaining to tabling the bill.
Minister Chamal Rajapaksa then announced that due to various opposition, the government will delay the tabling of the bill in Parliament.
