COLOMBO (NewsRadio); Kazakhstan’s major carrier SCAT Airlines is scheduled to commence flights to Sri Lanka from next month.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka (CAASL) has announced that SCAT Airlines will operate weekly flights to the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport from the 5th of March.
The flights will operate from Almaty in Kazakhstan.
The CAASL also announced that it has granted approval for charter flights to operate from the Mattala airport.
The Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport resumed international flight operations in December 2022 after a lapse of two years.
