The Kandy-Colombo Road, that was closed from Kadugannawa owing to the threat of landslides, has closed again after temporarily opening.
Kegalle District Secretary Mahinda S Weerasuriya said the road was temporarily opened this afternoon yet was closed again.
Heavy vehicles were prevented from travelling along the road.
