Hosts Japan continued to dominate the Medals Table at the end of Day Four of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games after winning multiple gold medals.
Japan added two gold medals from the Softball and a Judo events yesterday, in addition to the four in Judo events, two from skateboarding and one each in swimming and table tennis from the previous days.
Japan also claims three silver and five bronze medals with a tally of 18.
The United States is in second place with nine gold medals, eight silvers and eight bronze medals.
China is placed third in the standings with nine golds, five silvers and eight bronze medals.
The Russian Olympic Committee, Australia, Great Britain, South Korea, France, Canada and Germany complete the top 10 of the Medals Table at the Tokyo Olympics.
32 countries have claimed golds so far while 53 nations in total have thus far secured at least one medal at the Games.
