An individual has succumbed after being stabbed at the Weheragodella Junction in the Grandpass Police division.
Police said the deceased is a 51-year-old resident of the area.
The incident was reported following a dispute when the suspect arrived to reclaim a radio which was pawned after settling the amount with the victim.
The victim’s remains have been placed at the morgue of the Colombo National Hospital while Police investigations are underway to locate the suspect.
